• Kok Wai is the Managing Partner of Crowe Malaysia. He has been a key member of Crowe Malaysia’s leadership team since joining the firm as the Head of Audit in 2004.

Experience

• Kok Wai started his accountancy career with an international accounting firm in 1988 as an articled student undertaking the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) examinations. He rose through the ranks until his last position as an Audit Principal before leaving to join Crowe Malaysia.
• With extensive experience in auditing, financial due diligence, and financial reporting, Kok Wai has also led many initial public offering (IPO) engagements for the flotation of companies on the LEAP, ACE, and Main Market of the Bursa Malaysia.
  • In addition, Kok Wai has conducted numerous public speaking assignments on Financial Reporting Standards and participated in the review of financial statements issued by companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, organized by the MIA to assess financial statements compliance with Financial Reporting Standards.
